Michael J. Carrick
Chairman
Michael Carrick is a Chartered Accountant with over 30 years of experience in the resources sector.
He is currently Chairman of the RTG Mining Inc. and was previously Chairman and CEO of CGA Mining, Chairman of AGR and CEO of Resolute.
Prior to joining Resolute, Mr. Carrick was a senior international partner of Arthur Andersen. He has been responsible for the development of seven major gold mines in five countries, including the development of the first major gold mines in Tanzania and Mongolia, and most recently the largest gold mine in the Philippines
Justine A. Magee
Chief Executive Officer & Executive Director
Ms. Magee is a Chartered Accountant with extensive experience in the resource sector having headed the corporate and finance areas for Resolute Limited for 6 years. She was formerly with Arthur Andersen and a director of AGR Limited and director and CFO of CGA Mining Limited.
Ms. Magee’s principal responsibilities are commercial with a focus on the development of the existing asset portfolio and execution of new business opportunities in the resources sector. Ms. Magee holds a Commerce Degree from the University of Western Australia.
Mark Turner
Chief Operations Officer
Mr. Mark Turner is a Mining Engineer with over 30 years of experience in the resources sector. Mr. Turner holds a degree in Mining Engineering from the University of New South Wales and is Fellow of the AUSIMM. He has been responsible for the start up and operation of mines in Australia, East and West Africa and Asia. He was previously General Manager Operations of Resolute Mining Ltd, one of Australia’s largest gold producers. He has also worked for CGA Mining, Newcrest Mining Ltd and Hamersley Iron.
Robert N. Scott
Non-Executive Director
Mr. Scott is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia with over 35 years experience as a corporate advisor. Mr. Scott is a former senior partner of the international accounting firms of KPMG and Arthur Andersen. Mr. Scott is a director with Sandfire Resources Ltd and is currently chairman of Twenty Seven Co Ltd and Castillo Copper Ltd.
Phil C. Lockyer
Non-Executive Director
Mr. Lockyer is a Mining Engineer and Metallurgist with more than 50 years experience in the mining industry, with an emphasis on gold and nickel, in both underground and open pit mining operations.
Kenneth Caruso
Non-Executive Director
Mr Caruso has over 40 years of legal experience, specialising in both civil and criminal matters, often involving international jurisdictions. Prior to his current position, he was a partner in the New York office of the global law firm, White & Case. Mr Caruso is one of the few lawyers in New York to be recognised for both white collar and commercial work, including in many of the most respected guides to leading lawyers.
Sean Fieler
Non-Executive Director
Sean Fieler is the CIO and president of Equinox Partners Investment Management, a Connecticut-based money manager. He joined Equinox Partners in 1995 after graduating from Williams College. For the past twenty years, he has built a track record as an investor in precious metals mining and emerging markets equities.
